Who Is A God Like You
Micah 7:18-19
Lyrics
Verse 1
Stars out in space tell of Your splendour
Smiles on my face, lightening and thunder
Snowcaps on mountains,
All of them tell how great my God you are.
Verse 2
Sparrows and bees, eagles in motion,
Waves on the seas, tides in the ocean,
Sunshine and rainbows,
All of them tell how great my God you are.
Pre-Chorus
And all You have made tells me how great and wonderful You are
But all You have done leaves me to ponder greater still by far…
Chorus [Micah 7:18-19]
Who is a God like You, pardoning all I do?
Who is a God like You, as slow to anger
Loving me through every stumble and failure?
You alone wash me as new again
Who is a God like You, as rich in mercy
Throwing my sin to the deep of the deep sea?
Verse 3
Cool mountain springs, warm summer breezes
Dragonfly wings, dew when it freezes,
Blossom at springtime,
All of them tell how great my God You are.
Verse 4
Dolphins at play, spots on a cheetah
Lions asleep, stripes on a zeebra
Blue whales and clownfish,
All of them tell how great my God You are.

The Story
This song was part-inspired by the words of the wonderful hymn ‘How Great Thou Art’.
We see God’s greatness in the wonder of His creation – right? Yes, but there is something else that shows His greatness even more! His willingness to forgive us and rdeal once and for all with our sin. The Prophet Micah totally got that.
So, take How Great Thou Art, splice in Micah 7:18-19, and… here’s the result!
